Synopsis:
The Chinese community has a history spanning more than a century in Puerto Rico. “Una Misma Tierra: Chinese Community in Puerto Rico” tells their story through the experiences of four interviewees, including Violeta Louk, founder of the iconic Rex Cream ice cream shop. Through their historical and contemporary anecdotes, we learn how they have integrated into Puerto Rican society.
