Logline:
This short documentary follows the inspirational journey of Afro-Latina music blogger Elyssa Bustamante, AKA “The Funky Latina,” as she produces Arizona’s first Latin indie music festival. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement, and election denialism protests, Elyssa uses her skills and passion to create a celebration of Latinx music and artists, ultimately providing a safe space for her community.
