After finding her voice through poetry, Sanjuanera, Lady Lee Andrews, envisions that a living museum and resource center will help her peers do the same.
Sanjuanera, Lady Lee Andrews, found her gift of writing poetry at the age of three. As she started to develop her craft, she noticed that there wasn’t a space to seek feedback from peers or gain mentorship. Inspired to create this space that centers poetry within her own community, Lady manifests what is now called The Poet’s Passage, a living museum and resource center in Old San Juan. Through her story, we see how leaning into purpose and trusting in faith allows us to bring our dreams to fruition.
