Logline:

A Black man discovers he is being set up to die and must outmaneuver his would-be killer, uncovering signs of a far larger conspiracy.

Synopsis:

After accepting what appears to be an ordinary invitation, James finds himself caught in an increasingly disturbing encounter with Thomas, a man whose intentions are far more sinister than they first appear. As the truth unfolds, James discovers that he has been deliberately placed in a situation designed to end with his death, another Black man reduced to a believable statistic.
But James refuses to play the role that has been written for him. In a tense battle of manipulation, survival, and shifting power, he turns the tables on Thomas and uncovers hints of something much larger: an organization capable of manufacturing events and disguising murder as circumstance. James may have survived the trap, but what he does not yet understand is how deep the conspiracy goes—or whether his victory was ever truly his own.
