Logline:

A return home for Junior on Christmas Eve transports him back to a familiar life of old traditions, lots of coquito and to the one that got away.

Synopsis:

It’s Christmas in Florida and Junior hasn’t been home in 15 years, ever since his mother passed away. He’s become consumed by work and estranged to the people he grew up with, his family, friends and no one more so than Jennifer, the girl next door or better yet, “the one that got away”. Jennifer is in a committed relationship now with Mike, who can’t make it home for Nochebuena giving Junior and Jennifer an opportunity to reminisce on the past. Now back and surrounded by the rich traditions of his Latino culture, Junior is transported to the memories of his adolescence and is reminded just how important family and love really is.
