Logline:

In 1950s Puerto Rico, Luz confronts the loss of her baby in silence while trying to reconstruct her life in a society determined to make and judge all of her decisions.

Synopsis:

After the loss of her baby, Luz’s life begins to unravel. Haunted by the guilt and judgment of others, she interprets a prophetic dream as a divine sign to start a family again. Determined to bend society’s rules in her favor, she soon discovers a barrier impossible to break down.
