I’m passing through

Logline:

Become passers-by.

Synopsis:

Voy Pasando is a short, cinema verité-style visual meditation on the quiet, often overlooked daily grind of living under capitalism in the 21st century through an intimate and inviting lens. The audience is taken inside a laundromat and a moving car, outdoors in a private backyard, and through the streets of Puerto Rico.

This film reframes mundane rituatals (doing laundry, eating, driving around) away from being part of the “fight to survive.” Using intentionally lo-fi textures with a mixture of crisp nature shots, the project explores the transient nature of “passing through” life. It is a video portrait that rejects high-gloss production in favor of an honest, lived-in atmosphere capturing the beauty found in life’s unpolished transitions.

As the title suggests, we are not defined by the machines we feed or the stains of “Siglo XXI;” we are simply travelers moving through these systems to reach the garden on the other side. Consumption is not the goal- it is the fuel for our journey home.
