A grieving grandson reminisces on a childhood memory of his late Abuela after finding her illustrious Dominoes set while cleaning out her house.

Synopsis:

After his beloved abuela, Amelia, passes away, a grieving Francisco (AKA Paco) clears out her house with his son, Dominic, determined to get the task done quickly. While cleaning, Francisco finds Amelia’s famed Dominoes set and takes a moment to reflect on the first time he played with her. The reflection takes us back 30 years to when Amelia was in her prime, ruthlessly kicking her friends asses in Dominoes, much to the awe of 10-year old Paco. Feeling bold and beyond his years, Paco throws down the challenge to his grandmother. Despite Amelia’s insistence that Paco is simply not ready, she accepts the challenge, thus ensuing a heightened, tense game of Dominoes dubbed “El Clásico Familiar”!
