Logline:
Fifteen years after leaving Puerto Rico for a small town in the US from with his Abuelo, Gabriel works at a pizza shop and sells drugs to be able to support the two of them. After Gabe develops a crush on the new girl at work, he starts selling more to save up money for a date.
Synopsis:
Fifteen years after departing Puerto Rico for the US with his Abuelo in search of a better life, Gabriel works at a pizza shop to support himself and his grandfather. Although he works hard, it isn’t enough, so without his grandfathers knowledge Gabe sells drugs on the side to be able to pay the bills. After Gabe develops a crush on the new girl at the restaurant, Gabe asks his dealer for more work so he can afford to take her out on a date. This leads him into trouble with the law and his grandfather who wonders if Gabe truly feels at home in this small town.
